Head Coach DeWayne Walker begins his first year at the head of the New Mexico State football program by welcoming his team back to the field for the beginning of 2009 spring football practice on Monday, March 30th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.

The Aggies hit the field in the last week of March and practice runs until the end of the month. Practices are scheduled for Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, all from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday mornings (11:30-1:30 p.m.) The spring game will be held on April 25th at 6:00 p.m., in Aggie Memorial Stadium.

All practices are open to public and middle and high school coaches and players are strongly urged to attend.

In conjunction with spring practice the NM State football team will also hold a coaches clinic on Friday, April 17th at 3:00 p.m. as well as the 1st Annual DeWayne Walker Spring Golf Tournament on April 25th at 8:00 a.m.
