Casey Dick Among QBs To Work Out For Cowboys
Dallas presumably has a long-term solution at quarterback in Tony Romo.
Like any team, though, the Cowboys are looking for a capable back-up. The Dallas Morning News reports the Cowboys invited four quarterbacks to try out on Monday, including former Arkansas signal caller Casey Dick.
Arkansas' Casey Dick, Missouri's Chase Daniel, New Mexico State's Chase Holbrook and Sam Houston State's Rhett Bomar worked out for Cowboys offensive coordinator Jason Garrett and quarterbacks coach Wade Wilson on Monday. All four played high school football in Dallas-Fort Worth -- Dick at Allen, Daniel at Southlake Carroll, Holbrook at L.D. Bell and Bomar at Grand Prairie.
Dick threw for 2,586 yards and 13 touchdowns his final season. He had 14 interceptions and completed 57.4 percent of his pass attempts.
